It's not unusual to see cars and vans parked outside conference centres.

What is unusual is to see them INSIDE the conference centres, but that's exactly what the lcv group did when our brightly coloured Volkswagen ID.Buzz rolled up at Swansea Arena for the annual Swansea Conference.

Organised by 4theRegion, the event brings business from across Swansea Bay get together for a day of collaborating, connecting, and of course, celebrating all that is great about the region.

In order to drive the ID.Buzz inside the city's largest capacity indoor venue we of course needed permission, had to arrive nice and early, complete all the necessary risk assessment tests, and deck ourselves out in high viz jackets.

Our Business Development Manager Oliver Sutherland (above) was on-hand to help with the setting up, and we think the hard work was worth it - the electric van was the showpiece of the event and really caught the attention.

Representing the lcv group were Jodie Williams (left), Oliver Sutherland (middle), and Katrina Merrell (right), who gave visitors the chance to check out the latest in electric driving, and to win some great prizes, including a signed Swansea City shirt.

They were joined by many more stalls representing a wide range of interests from museums to music venues, and colleges to councils, and it was great to catch up with so many familair faces, and to make lots of new friends during the day.
