The lcv group's Julie Summerell has been recognised with a prestigious Hall of Fame award.
The annual Fleet News Awards, described as “the greatest night in the fleet calendar,” saw 1,350 people from across the industry gather at Grosvenor House London to celebrate the best of the best.
Summerell was awarded the trophy in the finale of a glitzy ceremony hosted by comedian Rob Beckett.
As managing director of TR Fleet, the fleet management company acquired by the lcv group in 2023, her distinguished career highlights include 17 years as a member of the Association of Fleet Professionals (previously ACFO). She describes joining the AFP’s board as "an important part of my career" that has allowed her "to give back to the fleet industry."
AFP chair Paul Hollick said: "She is a great ambassador and leading light in the industry. Back in 2020, we couldn't have created the AFP without her."

Having been in the industry for 25 years, she has established a reputation as "a highly respected industry role model and mentor to emerging fleet managers.”
Summerell has worked for many rental firms, leasing companies and dealer groups, and at one point was running the largest Porsche fleet in the UK. When she reached - in her own words – “a significant birthday”, she decided to set up her own company and TR Fleet was born, an independent provider of bespoke fleet services.
Talking to Fleet News, industry acquaintances described her as "incredibly focused and innovative with a strong drive to get things done and done well."
Another added: "She is one of the most talented and inspirational leaders in the fleet industry. She brings a high degree of enthusiasm, experience, ethics and innovation to everything she does. She has a passion to deliver results for her business and her customers."
